Cell Phone Recycling Program Benefits African Wildlife
Feb 13, 2008

The African Wildlife Foundation (AWF) is pleased to announce its participation in Lifeline for Africa, a cell phone collection program that supports charities working in Africa. The program is run by ReCellular, a leading U.S.-based company that specializes in cell phone reuse and recycling.

Phones donated by AWF supporters are refurbished and donated directly or sold to generate financial revenue for our programs. Any phones that cannot be reused or resold are recycled in an environmentally friendly way.

Donating your old cell phones and accessories is easy: Just visit www.lifelineforafrica.com, where you can print a prepaid shipping label and designate AWF as the charitable organization you’d like to support.

To learn more about the program, visit www.lifelineforafrica.com today. And when making your donation, be sure to designate AWF as the beneficiary.
