Despite their tough appearance, Africa’s rhinos have been hit hard by poachers. Since 1970, the world rhino population declined by 90 percent. But you can help the rhino come charging back. You can adopt a rhino in AWF’s Animal Adoption Center which supports AWF’s rhino conservation programs. We are implementing anti-poaching patrols and strengthening rhino sanctuaries across Africa. Adopting a rhino makes an excellent gift and is a meaningful to show that you are part of AWF’s rhino recovery effort.
