Strengthening Zambia's Lower Zambezi National Park
A Park for the Future
AWF is working with the Zambia Wildlife Authority to pump life back into Lower Zambezi National Park, an area that is home to thousands of African elephants and other species. But the park lacks crucial resources to effectively manage its natural resources. AWF needs your help to build a three bed-roomed ranger house, an office block, upgrade the Chongwe entry gate, construct a permanent revenue collection base at the park airstrip, map and put signage on the major road network. The list is long, but the costs are low. These developments will strengthen the park and ensure that African elephants have a place to roam for centuries to come. Won’t you help?
