Conserving Wildlife
Protecting Africa’s species is about much more than numbers.

Conserving Wildlife

Because Africa’s wildlife species are adapted to diverse climates and terrains, AWF invests in research, so our conservation recommendations are based on the latest scientific information, as well as an understanding of culture and economy.

Our mission is to ensure that Africa’s wildlife endures forever, and our protection strategies are designed for maximum effect.

With your help, AWF will save endangered rhinos, protect Africa’s great apes – the mountain gorilla and bonobo – and conserve Africa’s elephants, lions, leopards and wild dogs.

I WANT TO HELP SAVE AFRICA’S HEARTLANDS BY FOCUSING SPECIFICALLY ON WILDLIFE PROTECTION. I'M GLAD AWF'S BOARD WILL MATCH MY GIFT DOLLAR FOR DOLLAR!
