Thanks to the generosity of advertising legends Leo Burnett, the African Wildlife Foundation is proud to announce the launch of our new visibility campaign. Using the art of photographer James Balog, who generously donated several captivating, still-life images for the campaign, the Leo Burnett creative team developed a distinctive look to capture the work and essence of AWF, including the tagline "Conserving Wildlife. Respecting All Life."

James Balog's distinctive images, which have received widespread international acclaim, spring from a lifelong involvement with the outdoors and reflect his passionate quest to understand the complex relationship between humans and the environment. His photographs have been exhibited in prominent arts institutions from Paris and Greece to New York and Los Angeles. They are in dozens of public and private collections, including those of the Corcoran Gallery, the International Center of Photography (New York), the Centre Nationale de la Photographie (Paris), the Musee de l'Elysee (Switzerland), and the Gilman Paper Company.

Balog, the first photographer ever commissioned to create a sheet of stamps for the U.S. Postal Service, was twice the recipient of top honors from World Press Photo and has received the highest award in Graphis magazine's photography competition. He is the author of Animal, Anima, Survivors: A New Vision Of Endangered Wildlife, Wildlife Requiem, and the children's book James Baloges A to Z.
