Request for Proposals
Hydrological Survey, Environmental Impact Assessment, and Permit Acquisition for Borehole Drilling in Naikara, Narok West Sub-County, Narok County
The African Wildlife Foundation (AWF) invites proposals from qualified firms, consortia, or individuals to conduct:
- Hydrological surveys and obtain permits from the Water Resources Authority (WRA).
- An Environmental Impact Assessment (EIA) and facilitate license acquisition from the National Environment Management Authority (NEMA).
This work will support AWF’s Building Biodiversity Resilience in Southern Kenya Landscape (BRISK) project, funded by the Swedish International Development Cooperation Agency (SIDA). The project aims to enhance climate resilience and improve community access to potable water while reducing pressure on fragile ecosystems.
Who can apply?
- Firms or individuals with proven experience in hydrological surveys, environmental assessments, and successful WRA/NEMA applications.
- Professionals with at least five years of relevant experience and valid NEMA/WRA registrations.
