With support from the Peter Gilgan Foundation, AWF is advancing economic empowerment and resilience for women and girls in Cameroon’s climate‑affected Faro landscape. The project supports sustainable livelihood opportunities, reducing reliance on activities such as poaching and illegal grazing in protected areas, and strengthening communities’ ability to cope with climate pressures.
