Request for Quotation – Solar Borehole Equipping | African Wildlife Foundation Naikara Borehole, Narok County, Kenya

The African Wildlife Foundation invites qualified suppliers and contractors to submit competitive quotations for the supply and installation of a solar-powered borehole pumping system at the Naikara Borehole, Narok County, Kenya.

Scope of works includes:

  • Submersible borehole pump and cabling

  • Solar PV modules (16 × min. 700W bifacial), inverter/controller, and support structure

  • Rising main piping (500m HDPE PN16), delivery pipeline, and elevated 10,000L storage tank

  • Electrical protection (lightning arrester, earth rod, enclosure)

  • Full installation, testing, and commissioning

Key requirements:

  • Quotes in Kenya Shillings (KES), VAT shown separately

  • All 26 BOQ line items must be priced — partial quotes will be disqualified

  • Minimum 60-day quotation validity

  • Delivery/installation timeline and warranty terms required

Borehole Location: Coordinates available on request.

Pumping Results: Available on request for pre-qualified bidders.
