The African Wildlife Foundation (AWF), with funding from the Embassy of Sweden (SIDA), is implementing the BRISK Project in Taita Taveta, Narok and Kajiado Counties, aimed at building community resilience to climate change and strengthening land governance for biodiversity conservation.
AWF is seeking a qualified water infrastructure contractor to supply and install water pipeline works in the Mwakoma/Mwambiti area of Lower Sagalla, Taita Taveta County. The scope covers four pipeline works totalling approximately 6,500 metres, including HDPE pipe supply, trenching and backfilling, and installation of 10,000-litre storage tanks with concrete tank basements:
- Construction of Mwakoma Kwa Sibi Pipeline (1,800m)
- Construction of Mwambiti to Stellas Pipeline (700m)
- Upgrading of Mwakoma Main Pipeline, 1" PPR to 2" HDPE (1,600m)
- Construction of Mwakoma Kwa Mware Pipeline (2,400m)
Mandatory Site Visit
Attendance at the site visit is mandatory. Vendors who do not attend will not be permitted to submit a quotation.

- Location: Mwakoma Area, Lower Sagalla, Taita Taveta County (exact meeting point shared upon confirmation)
- Confirm attendance by: Tuesday, July 7, 2026, 12:00 PM
- Vendors are responsible for all costs of attending the site visit (transport, accommodation, etc.)

- Valid KRA Tax Compliance Certificate
- National Construction Authority (NCA) Certificate
- Evidence of at least 3 projects completed in the last 3 years (client name, contact, contract value, scope)
- List of key personnel (minimum: qualified plumber or water engineer)
- List of equipment/tools available for the works
