David Onenchan was African Wildlife Foundation's Senior Manager, Youth Programs and Engagement. He joined AWF in 2019 with more than ten years’ experience in managing different youth programs at various organizations, including Plan International, Save the Children, and the American Refugee Committee International (now Alight). In his role at AWF, he ensured that African youth are represented both in conservation programs and in the continent’s development agenda. David attained his Master’s degree in Public Policy and Management from Potsdam University, Germany and his Bachelor's in Community Psychology from Makerere University, Uganda.
