The African Wildlife Foundation (AWF) supporting the management of the Faro National Park for the conservation of the natural area as part of the ECOFAC VI program. AWF is seeking a group of consultants or a suitable firm to conduct a study for the Faro Technical Unit to contribute to the production of a Land-Use Plan that balances sustainable development and the objectives of natural resource management.

The plan will use spatial analysis and other tools to help identify new economic activities or existing economic activities and areas that facilitate sustainable development by minimizing trade-offs between different sectors. It will be produced in collaboration with the partners of the Forum of Local Actors, a dialogue platform led by AWF, and the Faro National Park Conservation Service with technical and logistical support from AWF technicians.
